          Wine Tasting is My Favorite Sport!
              
It may not be part of the MU athletic program, but Macadoodles considers wine tasting a sporting event where everyone wins. Wine tastings are a great way to sample different wines and discover new labels. Invite your friends and join us this Friday!

        PEACHY KEEN CAKE



Ingredients:

1 box yellow cake mix
1 box of vanilla instant pudding
1/2 cup Svedka peach vodka
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
4 eggs
1 cup diced peaches

Directions:
Cake:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour the cake mix and pudding mix into a bowl. Combine the diced peaches, peach vodka, vegetable oil, milk and eggs in another bowl. With the mixer on medium, add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and blend for 2 minutes. Pour batter into a well-oiled and floured 10-cup bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Peach Vodka Glaze:
1 stick butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Svedka peach vodka

In a sauce pan, combine the butter and water. Bring to a boil and then stir in sugar. Once the sugar has dissolved, lower heat to medium and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and slowly pour in the peach vodka. Mixture will bubble slightly.

Ladle the peach vodka glaze over the warm cake.
