This was a Dream year vintage. A rich wine that has aromas of Fuji Apple and Asian Pear with integrated touches of vanilla and spice from French Oak Barrels. Rich and elegant, winemaker Rob Davis thinks this is the most Burgundian styled Chardonnay he has ever produced.

Food Pairing – Artichoke hearts with citrus zest and fresh mozzarella 

Rose Wine

This beautiful property located in the south of France is the summer home to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Since 2012 the wines have been made by the famed Perrin Family of Chateau Beaucastel fame. A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle.

Famed vintner Jayson Woodward came up with an idea to blend fruit from 3 distinct Pinot Noir regions in California and produce a wine that combined the best of each region. The resulting blend was a remarkable wine that has aromas and tastes of Raspberries and cherries with a soft lingering finish.

Food Pairing – Crostini with Tapenade

Dry Creek Vineyard “Heritage Vines” Zinfandel                        2013          $22.43     $183.33

Heritage Vines refers to this producer and taking cuttings in 1982 from a pre-prohibition vineyard and grafting to phylloxera resistant rootstock. Over time the screened and propagated virus free vines that would produce old vine Zinfandel characteristics from a younger vineyard. Dense and complex, this wine is one of the best examples of the spicy rich flavor that comes from this grape grown in the northern part of Sonoma County.

The Niven Family of Paragon Vineyard fame has been farming in the Paso Robles Valley for over 40 years. For years this fruit was sold to a number of high profile Wineries in this region and was the backbone to many. They along with Winemaker Christian Roguenant have put together a Cabernet that reflects the climate and style of this region. A rich and gutsy wine with a distinct depth and cassis flavors that carry through the long full finish.

Duckhorn Vineyards “Napa Valley” Merlot                                 2012          $56.25     $650.00

One of the oldest and most respected names in Napa Valley, Duckhorn Vineyards was a pioneer in developing Merlot as a varietal. This wine is a complex blend of vineyards sites throughout Napa valley. This blend of 88% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petite Verdot and 1% Malbec is exceptional structured. Aromas of plum, cassis and Herbes de Provence give way to ripe berry flavors and velvety smooth tannins.
